Static resistance tester

The electrostatic resistance tester is an instrument for measuring the surface resistance of an object. It also has the functions of measuring surface resistance and ground resistance. It is mainly used to measure static electricity consumption and the conductivity of insulating surfaces. It can be measured repeatedly and is simple to operate. It is widely used in microelectronics, medicine, aerospace, precision machinery and other fields. It is used to quantitatively measure the surface resistance or system resistance of all conductive, antistatic and electrostatic discharge materials. It is simple to use and easy to carry. Just place it on the surface of the test object and press the red button, the indicator range on the instrument is 103-1012Ω, and one of the LED lights will light up according to the test value. Note: This tester cannot measure objects whose surface resistance exceeds 1012Ω.
Preparation before the test:
1, insert the power plug into the power socket on the back of the instrument, and place the power switch in the off position;
2, the working mode switch is in the "short circuit" position, and the current switch is in the pop-up position;
3, connect the shielded wire plug of the manual test frame to the input socket of the electrical box;
4, perform certain treatments on the test samples (such as sandblasting, cleaning, etc.);
5, adjust the indoor temperature and humidity to meet the test requirements.
How to use the electrostatic resistance tester:
1. Put a 9V dry battery in the battery slot behind the tester.
2. Insert the banana plug of the ground wire into the ground wire socket at the upper end of the tester.
3. Tie the wrist strap tightly to your wrist.
4. Connect the ground wire to the wrist strap.
5. Press the tester board by hand. At this time, the LCD indicator lights up and a beep can be heard. If the red "LOW" light is on, check the resistance between the hand strap and the ground wire. When it is less than 800 kilohms, this will affect the safety of the human body. If the red "HIGH" light is on, check whether the hand strap is fastened to the wrist, and check the resistance of the ground wire of the hand strap to make sure that the hand strap is not loose the ground wire of the tester. If the green "GOOD" light is on, it indicates that the grounding system of the electrostatic resistance tester is good.
