Ten Standards for Antistatic Fabric Workwear

1. Antistatic Workwear: Workwear made from antistatic fabric to prevent the accumulation of static electricity.

2. Antistatic Fabric: Fabric in which conductive fibers are incorporated at approximately intervals or evenly during the weaving process to prevent the accumulation of static electricity in clothing.

3. Conductive Fiber: Fiber produced by a composite spinning method using metal oxides or carbon black.

4. Appearance Requirements: Free from damage, spots, stains, and other defects that affect the performance of the garment.

5. Antistatic Fabric Performance: After 100 washes at a temperature of 20±5℃ and humidity of 30~40%, the average surface charge density of the fabric is ≤7.0μc/m2.

6. Antistatic Garment Performance: The charge amount per antistatic garment is <0.6μc/piece, and the wash resistance is ≥33.0 h for Grade A and ≥16.5 h for Grade B. 7. Antistatic Clothing Inspection Standard: National Standard of the People's Republic of China for Antistatic Clothing (GB12014-89).

8. Antistatic Clothing Inspection Basis: GB/T12703-1991 "Textiles - Test Methods for Static Electricity".

9. Antistatic Fabric Dyeing Requirements: Light mercerization, no napping. Oxygen bleach should be controlled to 80% of its dosage.

10. Antistatic Clothing Wearing Requirements: Do not put on or take off in flammable or explosive environments; do not wear any metal objects on antistatic clothing; wear in conjunction with antistatic shoes.
