The Long History of Static Electricity Problems

Today, static electricity, like a terrorist, has infiltrated production and transportation across all industries. It's an invisible hazard threatening safety in every sector. Managers are often baffled by static electricity, struggling to eliminate it despite their best efforts. Some even doubt the effectiveness of anti-static products. While product performance is important, finding the root cause is crucial. Knowing the enemy is half the battle.

Static electricity is generated by two main sources: production equipment and the human body itself, which is a source of static electricity. By effectively protecting both, even a powerful source like static electricity can be effectively controlled. For production environments and equipment, specialized anti-static products such as ionizers and anti-static flooring can be used to curb static electricity generation from the environmental perspective. For the human body, even more stringent anti-static clothing is essential. This two-pronged approach will surely nip static electricity in the bud.

In fact, for anti-static work, the most important thing is not the anti-static products themselves, but rather the instruments used to test them. This is because the testing cycle for anti-static products differs from that of ordinary products; they need to be tested frequently. If the performance of these products cannot be tested, we won't even know if the anti-static products have expired, rendering them completely ineffective.
