What are the main functions of dust-free cloths in a cleanroom?
Anti-static dust-free cloths can effectively remove stains from the surfaces of electronic components and protect them from the harmful effects of static electricity. So, what are the main functions of dust-free cloths in a cleanroom? Simply put, they are twofold: dust protection and anti-static protection.
1. Wear clean gloves and a mask when handling and unpacking.
2. When wiping, wrap the edges of the dust-free cloth inside the cloth. Do not let the edges of the cloth touch the surface.
3. Dust-free cloths can be used with solvents or directly.
4. When using, keep the dust-free cloth flat and avoid rubbing it. When moving the cloth, ensure that the fibers of the cloth are in full contact with the surface. Wipe in the same direction and avoid repeated wiping.
5. When using dust-free cloths, always open the inner packaging bag in a clean environment and clean the bag thoroughly (especially the opening) before unpacking.

1: Before cleaning, soak it in warm water to ensure that any stains are removed. 2. Choose a neutral pH detergent for cleaning. For easier stain removal, heat the water. Never use bleaching agents, as they can weaken the fibers.
3. Rinse thoroughly with non-ionized water after cleaning. Ensure that the polyester dust-free cloth is free of residue.
4. After cleaning, avoid ironing or exposing the cloth to direct sunlight, as this can damage the fibers. If you have a dryer, use a hot air dryer set to low temperature.
