What are the technical requirements for making anti-static clothing
The purpose of anti-static clothing is to prevent the accumulation of static electricity on clothing and prevent safety accidents. According to national regulations, there are three major requirements for anti-static clothing technology.
Structure requirements:
The production structure of anti-static clothing directly affects the anti-static effect, so there are two requirements as follows
1. Metal accessories are not allowed on the anti-static clothing. If metal buttons, zippers, etc. must be used, it must be strictly ensured that the metal accessories are not directly exposed when wearing the anti-static clothing.
2. When making anti-static clothing, all anti-static fabrics should be used, and no lining should be used. If the lining must be used, ensure that the exposed area of the lining should be less than 20% of the exposed area of the entire anti-static clothing.
Anti-static performance requirements:
According to the national standard, the anti-static performance of anti-static clothing should be less than 0.6 in a single room under certain washable conditions. The anti-static performance is good and it will not be affected in low temperature working environment, and the friction voltage is below 100V.
Strength requirements:
The fabric used for anti-static clothing should contain carbon organic conductive fiber black or gray, generally around 20D, between 1F-6F, in order to meet the strength requirements when weaving, it is necessary to combine an ordinary black or white Polyester fiber.
