Static electricity is mainly generated by friction between different materials and is widely present in nature, industrial production, and people's daily lives. As electronic products become increasingly sensitive, the grounding system, as the most crucial safeguard in electronic production, directly impacts the anti-static control of the entire electronics enterprise. A poor grounding system cannot ensure equal potential across all electrical workstations, easily leading to electrostatic discharge. In the development of enterprise networks, the core component-the computer room-plays a pivotal role, and its construction and operating environment have long been a focus of attention. In particular, many computer rooms, due to improper construction, suffer varying degrees of damage from external interference (such as lightning, static electricity, overcurrent, and overvoltage), causing network interruptions and shutdowns, and in severe cases, even burning out machinery and causing personal injury or death. Grounding connects a point in a circuit or a metal casing to the earth with a conductor, aiming to facilitate the flow of grounding current. Therefore, the lower the grounding resistance, the easier it is for the grounding current to flow. In addition to the grounding of computer systems, it is also desirable to minimize potential fluctuations that contribute to noise. Therefore, the lower the grounding resistance, the better.
Besides electrostatic grounding, we can also prevent static electricity through our own actions. For example, when entering a computer room, we can wear anti-static work clothes or anti-static gowns.
