ACL-380 uses ASTM standard D-257 parallel electrode sensing method to easily and repeatedly measure various conductive, electrostatic discharge, and insulated surfaces.
use:
To measure the surface impedance, place the watch on the surface to be tested, press and hold the red TEST button, and the continuously lit light-emitting diode (LED) indicates the magnitude of the measured surface impedance.
Measuring ground resistance
Plug the ground wire into the ground socket so that the right side detection electrode of the meter is insulated (on the same side as the socket). Clip the crocodile to your ground.
Place the watch on the surface to be tested, press and hold the TEST button, and the LED that continues to illuminate indicates the magnitude of the resistance to ground. The unit of this measurement is ohms.
