Antistatic esd Shoe Material Introduction

1. Commonly Used Materials for Antistatic Shoes: Wearing antistatic shoes is one of the most effective and reliable methods for dissipating static charge from operators. Due to the requirements of manufacturing enterprises, modern antistatic shoes not only need to have antistatic functions but also need to use low-dust-generating materials to suppress dust generated by personnel walking in cleanrooms.

Upper Materials: Antistatic PVC leather, PU leather, canvas, foam, etc.

2. Characteristics of PU and PVC Materials: High strength, thin and elastic, soft and smooth, waterproof; maintains good tensile and flexural strength at low temperatures, and has good resistance to light aging and hydrolysis; strong flexibility, appearance and performance are close to natural leather, easy to wash and clean, easy to sew; smooth and dense surface, can undergo various surface treatments and dyeing, diverse varieties. 3. Maintenance methods for PU and PVC materials: Clean with water and detergent, avoid gasoline cleaning; do not dry clean, only wash with water, recommended washing temperature 40℃, drying temperature 50℃; do not expose to direct sunlight; avoid contact with organic solvents, and never bleach.

4. Comparison of PU and PVC shoes: Conductive PVC and PU are both common materials for making antistatic shoes. PVC stands for "polyvinyl chloride," a type of plastic. PU stands for "polyurethane," a type of synthetic leather. They have many differences, and products made from these two materials also differ significantly in performance.
