1.Use electrostatic voltmeter method

Use nylon cloth or plastic to rub against the surface of the anti-static equipment to be tested, and measure its surface potential with an inexpensive and easy-to-use electrostatic voltmeter. If the electrification is very low several hundred volts and decreases quickly or the electrostatic meter indicates almost 0, Then its performance is better; if the electrification voltage is high, such as several thousand volts or tens of thousands of volts, and it can hardly decrease for a long time (several seconds or longer), its antistatic performance is poor.

 

2.Using megohmmeter and electrode method

The static surface resistivity of general anti-static equipment is in the range of 106-109Ω, which is a product with good performance. The test voltage is usually 100V or 500V. Therefore, megohmmeters and electrodes can be used for measurement. Because the electrode size and weight have a great influence on the measurement results when measuring the surface resistance. Therefore, when using non-standard electrodes for measurement, the error is sometimes large.
