With the diverse choices of anti-static packaging products today, customers often focus on price. However, you get what you pay for. The advantages and disadvantages of anti-static shielding bags and PE mesh conductive bags are listed below for your reference:

1. Anti-static shielding bags: After the PET semi-aluminized film is compounded with the PE or CPP film roll, the anti-static agent is evenly applied on both sides to make its surface resistance 109-1011Ω. Such a complicated process in the previous section makes each side have three layers of protection (anti-static inner and outer layers, conductive middle layer) to protect the internal products from static electricity. It has good anti-static and electrostatic shielding properties, effectively isolates items from external electrostatic fields, prevents static electricity from being generated in the bag, can shield ESD electrostatic discharge of external personnel and equipment, and greatly reduce external electromagnetic interference. The disadvantage is that due to the complicated process, high material cost and processing cost, the price is much higher than that of PE mesh conductive bags.

2. PE mesh conductive bag: The surface of the antistatic plastic film is printed with a mesh of black conductive ink, so that the surface resistance of the printed surface is ≦106Ω. It has good electrostatic discharge performance and conductive function, and effectively protects the product from static damage. Because of its simple production, the price is lower than that of antistatic shielding bags. Disadvantages: Strict requirements for dust-free environment, conductive bags need to be used in dust-free workshops, otherwise it will affect the performance of the product. The processing technology is not easy to control, and the quality abnormalities may be more due to the influence of personnel. The broken mesh wire may cause it to be unable to effectively discharge static electricity, and the puncture performance is worse than that of antistatic shielding bags.
