ESD Glove Identification and Care

ESD gloves come in various styles, making it difficult to distinguish genuine from counterfeit. Here's how to correctly assess the quality of ESD gloves: First, check the seams. The stitching must be meticulous, with a needle density of no less than 7 stitches/cm. There should be no loose threads or frayed seams when stretched straight. ESD gloves should be knitted using a glove knitting machine with 13 or more needles.

Second, when inspecting ESD gloves, the appearance quality should be sampled randomly by batch, variety, and specification. At least 20 pairs should be inspected. If fewer than 20 pairs, all pairs must be inspected. Inspection is generally done using light. When inspecting the internal quality, sample 5 pairs randomly by batch, variety, and specification. If this is insufficient, increase the sample size.

During transportation, ESD gloves should be placed flat in pairs, without folding, in a soft bag. The soft bag should then be placed flat in a hard-pack box. Each soft bag should contain a product certificate and instructions. Gloves should be stored in a well-ventilated, dry warehouse to avoid the effects of a humid environment. They should not be placed with acidic or alkaline substances, and should not be subjected to heavy pressure during transportation to ensure the quality of the gloves.
