FMX-004 Graphical and Digital Display Electrostatic Field Meter
The Simco-Ion FMX-004 electrostatic field meter is a lightweight and compact handheld electrostatic field meter for locating and measuring static charge on any surface. Its pocket-sized design makes it easy to carry, and its four operating buttons are very user-friendly. The FMX-004 can measure static voltage within ±30 kV at a distance of 1 inch, with results displayed simultaneously on digital and bar graphs. The four buttons-POWER (power switch), ZERO (zero point adjustment), MODE (operating mode), and HOLD (data lock)-allow the LCD display to lock and save data, a very useful feature, especially when data is difficult to read at the measurement location.
Two LEDs form a distance measurement indicator to confirm the correct measurement distance, and a conductive housing and grounding clip connect to a working ground point, enabling the FMX-004 to obtain more accurate measurement values. Its circuit design also ensures operation under ion flow.
