Function characteristics and application of anti-static gloves




Anti-static gloves are gloves made of special materials, which can effectively place static electricity and protect the safety of workers. The material is usually made of conductive fibers, and the spacing of the fiber gaps is designed according to the use environment, which is an indispensable product in the electronics industry.
The surface of anti-static gloves will be coated to ensure the control of anti-static performance. They are divided into the following two categories:
1. Using the principle of static dissipation, adding carbon fiber with relatively high resistance to the glove has the advantages of simple wearing and more convenient operation for the wearer, but the disadvantage is that the stability of static dissipation is insufficient, and it is mostly used for conventional electronic assembly.
2. Based on the principle of grounding, the knitting method of this kind of anti-static gloves is roughly the same as that of carbon fiber anti-static gloves. The difference is the use of low-resistance copper fiber or silver fiber. The advantage is that it can stably and completely remove static electricity from the human body. The disadvantage is that workers using such gloves also need to wear an anti-static wrist strap connected to the gloves, and the operator must have a grounding device. The wearing method is cumbersome, and the wiring of the entire base needs to be stable and smooth.
