How to choose static eliminator in explosion hazardous area


When high-voltage corona discharge and ion current static eliminators are used in areas with explosion hazards, explosion-proof static eliminators must be selected according to the hazardous area grade, medium level and group.

The discharge electrode length of induction and high-voltage corona discharge static eliminators should be 10-15 cm longer than the width of the charged body; the type and number of ion nozzles of the ion current static eliminator should be determined according to the possible installation distance and the width of the charged body.


The static eliminator should be selected according to the level of the object’s electrostatic potential, elimination requirements, operating characteristics, explosion hazard zone level, medium level and group.
