How to regularly maintain the ion fan
If users often use ion blowers, they must regularly maintain the ion blowers. So how do I regularly maintain the ion fan? In this article, the anti-static equipment manufacturer Runfengyuan Electronics will talk about the maintenance method of the ion fan:
1. Turn the speed governor switch of the ion fan clockwise until the indicator light is on, that is, turn on the fan to generate ion air flow, increase the wind speed of the fan, and turn the governor switch clockwise; turn the governor switch to the "off" position and the indicator light is off. Indicates that the ion fan is off. To adjust the airflow direction, loosen the bracket Torx screws, tilt the body to adjust the up and down position, and then tighten the bracket screws. To clean the ion emitter, turn the handle of the cleaning head clockwise to stop, and then turn it repeatedly until it is clean.
2. The wind speed neutralization time of the ion fan is determined by many factors. The two most important reasons are the distance and wind speed of the ion fan.
Air ions constantly neutralize each other, and cations and anions attract each other through static electricity to form the transfer and recombination of these charges. High wind speed can neutralize them farther away, and the higher the wind speed, the faster the neutralization of static electricity. When using an ion fan for electronic assembly, the ionized airflow should cover the working area as much as possible, so that the positive and negative charges on the surface of the object can be well neutralized and kept in a neutral state.
3. To clean the launch point of the transmitter, turn the handle of the cleaning head clockwise to stop and let go, and then turn it repeatedly until it is clean, at least once a week. The air inlet net and ionization outlet net should be kept clean to prevent blockage of air flow. It can be cleaned with a soft brush or compressed air.
4. Use a plate load monitor to measure, or use an ion blower ion tester to measure the ion balance. The test instrument brand is American MONROE (ME-268A), or the ion tester is used to measure the degree of ion balance (residual voltage). The output design of the ion blower to the ion volume is stable and fixed.
