How to use simco ION electrostatic tester FMX-003
FMX-003 has two red LED lights on the side of the sensor, which are used to locate the correct distance between the measuring instrument and the charged object. The measured distance is 25 mm. Align the LED light and the sensor with the charged object under test. Slowly move FMX-003 from far to near until the two beams of light converge into a concentric circle.
Ion balance measurement
FMX-003 uses the ion balance plate provided to easily and conveniently measure the ion balance voltage (offset voltage) of a variety of ion purifiers.
Installation of ion balance plate
①In the process of electrostatic voltage measurement, the ion balance plate is generally placed on the bottom end. (The end opposite to the sensor) In ion balance measurement, it should be installed on the top of the sensor.
②Press the release buttons on both sides to pull out the ion balance plate.
③Insert the balance plate into the slot on the sensor side until it enters as shown in the picture below.
④The balance plate should be inserted smoothly. When it has been placed in the proper position, please do not move it. Violent insertion may cause damage to the instrument.
⑤If you want to remove the ion balance plate after the ion balance measurement is completed, please press and hold the buttons on both sides of the sensor to pull out the balance plate. When the balance plate is not in use, it can be installed on either end of the FMX-003.
