Method of testing anti-static chair
1. Under normal circumstances, we measure the anti-static chair according to certain specifications, not according to our own wishes. The standard for testing the use of anti-static chairs is the general anti-static standard for electronic products. During the test, we need to place a conductive plate under the casters of the anti-static chair, and ensure that the conductive plate is in good contact to test the anti-static chair. One electrode needs to be in contact with the anti-static chair and the other electrode in contact with the conductive plate.
2. Testing the resistance of the anti-static chair includes two aspects, one is to test what we usually call point-to-point resistance, and the other is to test the system resistance. What I want to remind everyone here is that when doing point-to-point resistance testing, you need to put the whole test anti-static chair on an insulated table, and ensure that it is placed in the same state as we usually use.
Because dust-free workshops have high requirements for static electricity, or workshops with many electronic products, the requirements for testing anti-static chairs are also very high. When buying anti-static chairs, we can’t just choose low-quality anti-static chairs just for cheap. From the consumer's point of view, we must carefully test the anti-static chair and choose according to the place we use, otherwise the harm caused by static electricity will not be avoided.
