The static electricity of liquid petroleum products during storage and transportation can increase the electrostatic potential of the liquid surface of the container. If sampling, temperature measurement, water inspection and other operations are carried out at this time, electrostatic discharge will be induced, resulting in fire and explosion.
Therefore. In order to avoid the occurrence of static electricity accidents, various standards and regulations require that anti-static sampling ropes (also called nylon ropes, discharge ropes) must be used during sampling, temperature measurement, water detection and other operations.
Application Features:
1. When performing sampling, temperature measurement, water detection, etc., one end of the grounding sheet (equipped with the factory) must be firmly connected to the metal grounding clip, and the other end of the anti-static sampling rope should be firmly connected to the sampling, temperature measurement, and water detection equipment, and the grounding point There must be no insulation such as paint.
2. When performing sampling, temperature measurement, water inspection, etc., do not pull fast to guard against electrostatic sampling rope, the lifting speed should not be greater than 0.5 m/s, and the falling speed should not be greater than 1 m/s.
3. When performing sampling, temperature measurement, water detection and other operations, it is necessary to ensure the standing time of liquid petroleum products, and it is strictly forbidden to conduct sampling, temperature measurement, and water detection operations for oil products under dynamic conditions.
Note: The anti-static sampling rope (sampling rope) must be firmly grounded when using it to prevent the phenomenon of ungrounded use!
