The friction voltage test of the dust-free clothing is mainly to verify whether the cloth itself can reach a specified stable value in a short period of time after accumulating some voltage through friction, which is mainly to test the quality of the conductive wire. The friction voltage test of clean clothes is not complicated. Here is a simple test procedure:
Test method: On a dedicated ESD test bench (grounded), the tester rubs the surface of the fabric several times (usually 5-10 times) with a certain force and speed, and then uses a dedicated voltage tester (electrostatic field test) Instrument/static voltage tester stopwatch) aim the probe at the rubbed part at a distance of about 5CM, and read the voltage value after the 5th second.
Depending on the fabric of the dust-free clothing, its friction voltage value will be different. Generally, the friction voltage of conductive silk fabric is 200V, and the friction voltage of diamond-shaped knitted anti-static fabric can reach below 30V.
