The advantages of choosing a high-quality anti-static wristband

An anti-static wristband is a wristband worn by workers to release static electricity and is often used in electronic product production lines. There are two types: wired and cordless. We don't talk about cordless today, because the electrostatic discharge function of cordless wristbands is much worse than that of corded wristbands.
Anti-static wrist straps (cords) consist of elastic bands, movable snaps, spring cords, protective resistors and plugs or clips. The inner layer of the elastic band is woven with anti-static yarn, and the outer layer is woven with ordinary yarn. When using, the worker wears the wrist strap, fastens the snap button, and grounds the other end of the plug or clip, which can effectively release the static electricity of the body.
After the antistatic wristband is used for a period of time, because the wristband is continuously stretched and bent during use, the metal wires in some cheap wristbands will break, so the antistatic effect cannot be achieved. But people who use it do not know that it has failed, and touching static-sensitive parts will cause electrostatic accidents.
When a large amount of static charge is instantaneously introduced due to improper contact with a high-static power source, and the ion neutralization is incomplete, the anti-static wristband can provide ion neutralization of water molecules in the outside air through the same screw (for corona discharge effect), thereby Effectively eliminate static electricity and achieve the ultimate goal of electrostatic discharge (static voltage balance).
However, some cheap anti-static wristbands produced in China may not be able to neutralize static electricity in time. For example, the position of the snap button may not be so tight after a few uses. When workers are working, people keep moving, and static electricity is constantly generated on their bodies. Meanwhile, anti-static wrist straps are sometimes fully buckled, but sometimes not fully buckled. It is very likely that the static electricity of the body will break down the chip within 0.1 seconds, resulting in an electrostatic accident without any "spider silk"
However, this is not the case with relatively high-priced antistatic wristbands produced by regular manufacturers. They have undergone several rigorous bending tests of hanging heavy objects, and the product craftsmanship, quality and workmanship are strictly monitored to ensure that the product can meet the specified number of bending times and can guarantee its service life.
At present, the current situation of my country's antistatic wristband products is low price and low quality. So that the standard is only for the performance of the product, there is no standard for the quality. As long as the product can reach a resistance of 1, it is qualified. There is no standard or guarantee of service life. Therefore, it is suggested that if the product itself has high requirements for static electricity, in order to prevent the occurrence of static electricity accidents, the principle of anti-static equipment and tools must not be cheap, otherwise the loss caused by static electricity accidents will be greater.
