The difference between professional cleaning and ordinary cleaning of anti-static clothing
Precision electronic products may be interfered or persecuted by ubiquitous static electricity at any time during the manufacturing process, so the operators of the production line must wear anti-static clean clothes. However, many times due to the lack of anti-static professional knowledge in the factory, improper cleaning methods are adopted for anti-static clean clothes, which will make the anti-static clean clothes lose their original performance and become an ordinary work clothes!




Under normal circumstances, the cleaning method of ordinary clothes, in order to be clean, generally uses highly corrosive detergents, which can wash away some difficult-to-clean stains on clothes, such as ballpoint pen and fountain pen marks. The pH value of such detergents is generally greater than 14, and the anti-static clean clothes after cleaning with this strong alkaline detergent are particularly clean. However, the conductive fibers on the fabric of the anti-static clean clothes are severely corroded, losing their original anti-static properties, and ultimately causing the anti-static clean clothes to become ordinary work clothes. Professional purification cleaning is not only to clean the stains on the outer layer of the clothes, but the most important thing is to maintain its effective anti-static effect and purification level. The difference between professional cleaning and ordinary cleaning:
1. Professional anti-static clean clothes use detergents with a pH value between 7 and 10.
2. Use professional anti-static clean clothes washing machines (rather than relying on strong manual rubbing or high-power industrial washing machines used in general laundries,
which will damage the conductive fibers on the clothing fabrics more).
3. For washing water, general anti-static clean clothes must at least use softened water, and clean dust-free clothes must use EDI ultrapure water.
4. Operators who have received professional training operate according to standard process procedures.
5. Regularly test the anti-static parameters of washed anti-static clean clothes. Monitor its anti-static effect, and clean dust-free clothes must also test its dust-free purification level (how many dust particles are contained in the clean dust-free clothes after washing).
