The distinction and use requirements of anti-static floor
Common floor types include cement floor, PVC floor, ceramic floor, painted floor and rubber floor.

Today, I will introduce a special kind of floor, which has anti-static function, so it is also called anti-static floor. It is mainly used in areas that require anti-static requirements, such as SMT workshops, assembly areas, incoming inspection rooms, semi-finished products inspection areas, operating rooms of medical institutions, pharmaceutical workshops and other areas that need electrostatic protection. The anti-static floor is also called the dissipative static floor. When it is grounded or connected to any lower potential point, the charge can be dissipated. It is characterized by a resistance between the 5th power of 10 and the 9th power of 10 ohms. "GB50174-2008 Electronic Information System Computer Room Design Specification", page 20, section 8.3.1 stipulates: The surface resistance or volume resistance of the anti-static floor or ground should be 2.5×10E04~1.0×10E09Ω.
Anti-static floors are generally divided into anti-static coating floors (self-leveling), anti-static PVC floors, anti-static floor tiles and anti-static floor mats.
Anti-static coating floor, also known as anti-static self-leveling, is mainly characterized by being flatter than ordinary painted floors, and the thickness is generally above 0.5mm. From the structural point of view, it is divided into five layers: bottom layer, conductive layer, conductive sealing layer, leveling layer and surface layer. Among them, the conductive layer and the conductive sealing layer play a key role, because these two layers are the main paths for smoothly introducing charges into the earth.
Anti-static PVC floor usually has obvious patterns on the surface. It is a kind of floor with permanent anti-static function. Its main features are strong abrasion resistance, strong anti-aging, and anti-static stability. Its structure is divided into four layers: bottom substrate, conductive ground net, conductive coating and veneer.
Anti-static floor tiles, also called raised floors or raised floors, are floors that require support frames for normal use. Its structure is divided into three layers: substrate, veneer and conductive parts (support). The grounding method is different from the above two. The anti-static floor tile is a floor directly grounded with a grounding copper wire, and the grounding point is usually on its support.
Anti-static floor mats are usually used in places where anti-static requirements are not high or anti-static local areas, such as test benches, partial assembly or packaging positions, etc., look like anti-fatigue mats in appearance, and the main purpose is to reduce the generation of static electricity and It can lead away the static electricity of the human body in time.
