1. There is a sour smell, and the smell is very strong. This kind of anti-static tape has very poor persistence, especially in low temperature environments, and it will crack when it is basically stuck on the carton. The stronger the smell, the initial adhesion is still very sticky, but the glue surface will soon dry and lose its glue. At that time, it will be manifested in cracks on the surface of the tape because of uneven glue coating.
2. The probability of this anti-static tape breaking is very high. Generally, inferior anti-static tapes are dark in color because of poor strength.
3. The fewer impurities, the whiter the appearance of the anti-static tape. In order to ensure normal adhesiveness, anti-static tapes below 100 meters have a certain degree of transparency and can see the paper tube. Check the yellow tape for irregular white spots on the surface. If there are impurities or glue marks that cannot be wiped off by hand, this product usually has an odor.
4. Due to the thickness of the film, the anti-static tape that feels hard is generally inferior, and the actual number of meters will be reduced. The film selected for good anti-static tape is relatively soft and has good hand stretchability.
