What types of static elimination ion generators are there?

Whole house ion generator installation:
Use a combination of multiple emitters and gas sources just below ceiling height to push ions downward throughout the space.
Advantages: Provides a large area of ion wind, and the ion generator is not in the way.
Cons: A bit overkill and not cost-effective. Typically, only a small portion of the space requires static elimination.
Local ionizer installation:
Ionizers are installed somewhere where ionization needs to be provided.
Advantages: More cost-effective. Typically provides faster ion delivery (up to ten times).
Disadvantages: Depending on the product, ionization is limited to specific areas and small areas of space.
Whole-house ionizers were once considered one of the best solutions for ESD, but lately, more businesses are opting for localized solutions because typically only a small portion of the space needs static elimination.
