Insufficient wrist strap buckling causes the contact resistance between the human skin and the wrist strap to increase, resulting in the inability to discharge static electricity in a timely manner. However, when the resistance is reduced, there may be a risk of electric shock to the human body if leakage occurs.

Anti-static shoes should have anti-static socks / insoles when they are worn, and work on the anti-static ground to make the static electricity carried by the human body lead to the ground. Any part of the resistance that is too large or disconnected will cause harmful static electricity. Therefore, in important departments, there should be a human body resistance tester to detect whether the total resistance of the shoes / socks / insoles worn by the human body and the human body can play the role of static electricity leakage at any time. The wrist strap should be connected to the ground with a dedicated ground wire with a socket. It cannot be clamped on the metal body on the desk or table, because the resistance of these metal bodies to the ground may be large.
