A Brief Discussion on the Construction Specifications of Antistatic Flooring
Antistatic flooring is an essential antistatic product in many places. Therefore, there should be certain construction specifications for its installation.
(1) Draw the baseline, which should be reasonably determined according to the geometry of the room.
(2) Lay the conductive copper foil grid according to the grounding grid layout diagram. The intersection of the copper foil should be located at the center of the panel. The copper foil strips should be laid straight, without curling or interruption. Sufficient length should be left for the copper foil strips connected to the grounding terminal.
(3) Prepare the conductive adhesive: Mix carbon black and adhesive at a weight ratio of 1:100 and stir evenly.
(4) Apply the adhesive: Apply it evenly and comprehensively to the ground and the laid conductive copper foil, and allow it to dry naturally after application. (5) Laying the paneling: Once the dehydrated floor has dried to a non-sticky state, begin laying the paneling immediately. Align the two right-angled edges of the paneling with the baseline, and lay quickly and efficiently. Leave a 1-2mm gap between panels, maintaining a consistent gap width. Tap the panel surface evenly with a rubber mallet, checking as you go to ensure a firm bond. Use non-standard paneling to fill in any edges of the floor. Non-standard paneling is made by cutting standard paneling with a cutter.

(6) When laying the paneling to the grounding terminal, first extend the copper foil strip connecting to the grounding terminal and securely connect it to the grounding terminal using soldering or crimping. Then continue laying the paneling.
(7) After the entire room is covered, use a grooving machine to create welding grooves along the paneling seams. The groove lines should be straight and uniform, with a width of 3±0.2mm being ideal.
(8) Use a plastic welding gun to perform thermoplastic welding at the welding grooves, bonding the panels together as one unit. Excess welding material should be trimmed flat with a sharp knife, but care must be taken not to scratch the surface of the panel.
(9) The grounding system construction should include the application of conductive adhesive, conductive copper foil grounding grid, grounding copper foil, grounding terminals, grounding down conductors, and grounding electrodes. Except as specified in this chapter, all other requirements should comply with the provisions of this specification.
(10) After the tiling work is completed, the ground should be cleaned thoroughly and coated with antistatic wax for protection.
