Antistatic Balls - Static Eliminators

Antistatic balls (also known as human body static dischargers or static elimination balls) are passive static discharge devices. They are primarily used in flammable, explosive, and precision electronic environments. Through their metal contact ball, they extend the static discharge time, safely conducting accumulated static electricity from the human body to the ground, eliminating the risk of electric shock and preventing fires or explosions. Core Operating Principle: Safe Conduction. When a person touches the ball, the static voltage is controlled within a safe range (usually less than 10V), eliminating sparks generated by instantaneous discharge. Passive Design: The device requires no external power supply and typically consists of a stainless steel ball and conductive columns. Static elimination is achieved simply by touching it for 0.5-1 second. Main Application Scenarios: Petrochemical: Oil fields, refineries, gas stations, oil depots. Industrial Manufacturing: Flammable and explosive dust workshops, spray painting workshops, ammunition depots. Electronics & Microelectronics: Computer rooms, clean rooms, and precision instrument production lines with extremely high antistatic requirements. Selection and Installation Points: Material: We recommend choosing a corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant 304 stainless steel sphere.

Additional Functions: For outdoor or high-risk locations, models with audible and visual alarms or voice prompts are available to ensure operators complete the discharge process.

Grounding Specifications: The base must be reliably connected to a dedicated grounding grid via a grounding cable; otherwise, static electricity cannot be discharged.
