The core techniques for using silicone adhesive rollers (silicone rollers) lie in controlling the pressure, reverse rolling, and non-destructive cleaning. Their surface is naturally sticky, specifically designed to attract hair, dander, and fine dust.
1. Key Usage Techniques: Moderate Pressure: Utilize the soft elasticity of silicone for self-adhesion; apply only light pressure, avoiding excessive force to prevent deformation or damage. Reverse Rolling: When cleaning particularly uneven surfaces (such as PCB boards or rough materials), roll backward. This effectively avoids dead corners, reduces wear and tear from the adhesive, and significantly extends the roller's lifespan. Environmental Control: Avoid use in high temperatures, direct sunlight, or environments with sharp objects to prevent silicone aging or scratches.
2. Dedicated Cleaning and Maintenance with Adhesive Paper: After the roller becomes saturated with dust, roll it unidirectionally on a dedicated adhesive paper to transfer the dust, restoring its stickiness for continued use. Alcohol deep cleaning: When the stickiness weakens over time, use medical alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) or a professional lint-free cloth to wipe away surface grease and stubborn stains. After drying, the initial stickiness will be restored. Do not use tape: Never use ordinary tape or transparent tape to pick up dust on the roller surface, as the adhesive residue will completely destroy the physical adsorption layer of the silicone.
3. Special stain treatment and water washing restoration: If heavily soiled, rinse with warm water or gently clean with a neutral detergent (such as dish soap). After washing, place in a cool, ventilated place to air dry naturally.
