Do you know how to wear an anti-static bracelet correctly?

Everyone has played with toys like "static balls" when they were children, but we all know that static electricity is very harmful to electronic components. When manufacturing some precision components in the factory, workers will be required to wear anti-static clothing, anti-static shoes and anti-static bracelets. So, do you know how to wear an anti-static bracelet correctly?
Correct wearing method
If the electrostatic bracelet is worn incorrectly, it will have no effect at all and will not conduct static electricity. How to wear it correctly?
1. Clean your hands and keep them dry. This will reduce the generation of static electricity and dirt on the components when touching electronic components;
2. Wear the electrostatic bracelet on your wrist, and bring the metal piece inside the electrostatic bracelet into close contact with your skin.
Please note that what is mentioned here is that the metal piece must be in close contact with the skin and cannot be worn on clothes;
3. Clamp the metal clip of the anti-static bracelet to the bare copper of the ground wire, which can effectively conduct static electricity.
How to test it?
First, clean your hands and keep them dry, wear an electrostatic bracelet and keep it in close contact with the skin;
Secondly, clamp the metal clip of the electrostatic bracelet to the designated position of the tester, and press the test switch with the hand wearing the anti-static bracelet (note: it must be the hand wearing the electrostatic bracelet);
Then, check the test results. If the red light is on, it means it is unqualified, and if the green light is on, it means it is qualified.
