Does the anti-static gown have a big impact if it is not buttoned?

Recently, I found a problem in the return visits to some new and old customers. Many employees wear anti-static gowns at work but do not wear the buttons of the anti-static gowns. Everyone thinks that they only need to wear anti-static clothes and do not fasten the buttons. It doesn't matter too much. Many people have also asked whether the anti-static performance of the anti-static gown will be affected if the front button is not fastened.

Where does this phenomenon and problem come from? The main reason is that the operators of the production line feel that it is time-consuming, uncomfortable, and unsightly to fasten the buttons of the anti-static coat. Since most business managers are not clear about the impact of such an approach, there has been no clear regulations and requirements for wearing anti-static gowns.

Wearing an anti-static gown or even any anti-static work clothes with buttons or zippers is definitely correct. This approach is to protect the external non-conductive and non-grounded clothing. Since most of the front part of the operator's body is a part that is easy to approach and touch with sensitive products, if the button is not fastened, the front will not be covered and the anti-static effect will not be produced.
