Electrostatic protection during loading and unloading of flammable and combustible liquids
1 Before loading and unloading the tanker, the operator shall discharge the static electricity of the human body at the grounded handrail at the entrance of the loading and unloading area (loading and unloading platform), as shown in Figure 2.

In areas 0 and 1 of explosion-hazardous places and where the ignition energy is less than 025mJ, the operator should wear suitable anti-static work clothes, anti-static footwear, anti-static gloves, and if necessary, wear an anti-static wrist Belt. Cotton work clothes can play an anti-static effect only when the relative humidity is greater than 50%.

Operators should standardize their behavior in accordance with the prescribed resting time. Do not wear, take off their coats and hats, comb their hair and other frictional actions during the operation, and do not carry metal objects that are not related to work, such as keys, watches, rings and necklaces, etc. .
4 Operators should strictly follow the operating procedures, and metal tools should not be used to knock the loading and unloading pipelines and valves during the operation, so as not to cause objects to hit sparks.
The loading and unloading of flammable and combustible liquids is an important part of the production of refining and chemical enterprises. If nothing happens, it is a big deal. It should not be taken lightly. Static electricity is the big "killer" in the process of loading and unloading, so it must be controlled. Eliminate fundamentally to ensure safe production of enterprises.
