Electrostatic protection in electronic computer room

 1. Electrostatic protection

     1. When the raised floor is not used in the basic work room, the static conductive ground can be laid. The static conductive ground can be glued to the building ground with conductive glue. The volume resistivity of the static conductive ground should be 1×107~1×1010Ω. CM, which causes the electrical performance to be stable for a long time and not easy to generate dust.

  2. The raised floor used in the host room can be made of steel, aluminum or other smoldering materials. The surface of the raised floor should be electrostatically conductive, and it is strictly forbidden to expose the metal parts. The system resistance of the unit raised floor shall comply with the current national standard "Technical Conditions of Raised Floor for Computer Room".

   3. The work surface and seat cushion cover material in the host room should be electrostatically conductive, and its volume resistivity should be 1×107~1×1010Ω. CM.

   4. The conductors in the main engine room must be reliably connected to the ground, and there must be no isolated conductors insulated to the ground.

   5. Electrostatic grounding must be carried out on the ground, raised floor, workbench and seat cushion cover.

   6. The connecting wire for electrostatic grounding should have sufficient mechanical strength and chemical stability. When conductive glue is used to bond the static conductive ground and the mesa with the grounding conductor, the contact area should not be less than 10CM2.

  7. The electrostatic grounding can be connected to the grounding device via a current-limiting resistor and its own connecting wire. The resistance of the current-limiting resistor is 1MΩ.

 2. Grounding

  1. The setting of the grounding device in the computer room should meet the personal safety and the normal operation of the computer and the safety requirements of the system equipment.

   2. The following four grounding methods are used in the computer room:

   A. AC working grounding, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 4Ω;

   B. Safety grounding, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 4Ω;

   C. DC working grounding, the grounding resistance is determined according to the specific requirements of the computer system;

   D. Grounding for lightning protection shall be implemented in accordance with the current national standard "Code for Design of Building Lightning Protection";

  3. AC working grounding, safety protective grounding, DC working grounding, and lightning protection grounding should share a set of grounding devices, and the grounding resistance shall be determined according to the smallest value among them; if a separate grounding device is provided for the lightning protection grounding, the remaining three A set of grounding devices should be used for planting grounding, the grounding resistance should not be greater than the smallest value, and counterattack measures should be taken in accordance with the current national standard "Building Lightning Protection Design Code".

  4. For electronic computer systems that have special requirements for DC working grounding and need a separate grounding device, the grounding resistance value and the distance between the grounding bodies of other grounding devices should be determined in accordance with the requirements of the computer system and related specifications.

   5. The grounding of the electronic computer system should be grounded at a single point and equipotential measures should be taken.

   6. When multiple electronic computer systems share a group of grounding devices, each electronic computer system should be connected to the grounding body by grounding wires.
