Electrostatic wrist strap is a device that is worn on the wrist of a human body and vents the body to accumulate electrostatic charge. It consists of an antistatic elastic band, a movable snap, a spring cord, a protective resistor and a collet. The inner layer of the elastic band is woven with an antistatic yarn, and the outer layer is woven with ordinary yarn. The principle of the anti-static wired wrist strap is to guide the static electricity of the human body to the earth through the wrist strap and the grounding wire. In use, the wrist strap is in contact with the skin and the ground wire is grounded directly for maximum effectiveness. Put on this anti-static wrist strap, which can safely remove static electricity generated in the human body within 0.1 seconds. The grounding wrist strap is the most basic and most commonly used in anti-static equipment.
Although the cordless wrist strap is not as fast as the general wrist strap, it is more suitable for leading temporary inspections and is favored by the majority of manufacturers because of its convenient carrying.
