How is the anti-static performance ensured?
Anti-static clothing is made of special polyester filament, woven by special process, and made of this kind of fabric by special sewing process. Anti-static clothing has been widely used in electronics, pharmaceuticals, food, bioengineering, optics, aerospace, aviation and other industries.
Anti-static clothing can effectively prevent the shedding of human dander and the pollution of medicines caused by the growth of microorganisms, and can also prevent the harm caused by medicines to the human body. So as to play the role of double protection.
In addition to dust-proof performance, anti-static clothing also needs to have anti-static performance. So how can we ensure the anti-static performance of anti-static clothing?

There are two main ways to ensure anti-static performance, one is to choose fabrics with good anti-static performance, and the other is to ensure the electrical connectivity of the clothing as a whole and be well grounded when wearing.
The anti-static properties of fabrics depend on the resistance of the anti-static fibers, the amount and the way of adding them. In the case of a certain area, the larger the amount of anti-static fiber added, the better the anti-static performance of the fabric. According to the static sensitivity level of the clean room, different amounts of fabrics can be selected. Anti-static fibers are generally black or gray, so the appearance of inlaid anti-static fibers is generally black stripes or lattice.
To ensure electrical continuity throughout the ESD garment, conductive sewing thread must be used. For some anti-static clothing with particularly high static requirements, conductive tape must also be used in the splicing part of the fabric, and conductive rib should be used in the cuffs and foot openings. If necessary, add a grounding point to the appropriate position of the anti-static clothing.
