How to Choose a Suitable Antistatic Floor Tiles

1. Good antistatic flooring should be environmentally friendly. Adhesives are used in the production of antistatic flooring substrates, and formaldehyde is one of the main components of these adhesives. Therefore, antistatic flooring often contains formaldehyde, which is known as a "hidden killer." According to national standards, the formaldehyde emission of the substrate must meet the E1 standard, meaning the formaldehyde emission should be less than 9mg/100g. Only substrates below this standard are harmless to the human body. When buying antistatic flooring, if you smell a pungent odor, do not buy it. Good antistatic flooring should be moisture-proof. Moisture-proof performance is reflected by the water absorption thickness expansion rate. The higher this value, the worse the moisture-proof performance. Flooring with poor moisture-proof performance is very likely to swell and deform in the humid environment of the spring rainy season. We remind consumers to buy flooring with a water absorption thickness expansion rate of less than 10%.

2. Good antistatic flooring will not fade. Some imitation solid wood flooring looks brightly colored and has delicate patterns. However, some imitation solid wood flooring patterns resemble chalk writing on a blackboard; the pattern disappears completely when erased with an eraser. When purchasing flooring, consumers must choose products with a lightfastness rating of 7 or higher; otherwise, your shoes will look like "embroidered shoes."

3. Good anti-static flooring should be wear-resistant. High wear resistance is one of the most prominent advantages of engineered wood flooring. Currently, mainstream engineered wood flooring products in the global market should achieve an AC3 level of wear resistance (i.e., a rotation speed of 6000 revolutions or higher). Many low-priced floorings on the market now use low-quality wear-resistant paper to reduce costs, resulting in naturally low wear resistance and a significantly shorter lifespan.
