How to Maintain and Care for Antistatic esd Cleanroom Garments

The best cleaning agent for antistatic work clothes is a non-ionic surfactant with a neutral pH. Ordinary cleaning agents contain certain acids or alkalis, which can damage the antistatic material of the fabric. The water washing process uses treated sand-filtered water and pure water; the rinsing process uses deionized water with a resistivity of at least 16 MΩ/cm³. Finally, drying, packaging, and inspection after cleaning are all carried out in a Class 100 cleanroom environment. In ordinary environments, cleaned antistatic cleanroom garments are easily contaminated by tiny dust particles from the surrounding environment, affecting the cleanliness of the garment and thus damaging its antistatic function.
