How to test the anti-static performance of clean clothes

For some high-demand production sites, anti-static clothing is a must, but can workers only wear clean clothes for work? Not really. Wearing clean clothes is to prevent dust and static electricity. If the clothes have lost these functions, what is the use of wearing them? Therefore, the anti-static performance test of clean clothes is always and necessary.

One way to test the performance of anti-static clothing is to test its surface resistivity. The lower the resistance, the better the fabric. The reason is that the lower the resistivity, the easier it is for static electricity to be conducted away.

Another way to test the antistatic properties of antistatic clothing is to observe the decay time of static electricity on the fabric. This method is better than measuring conductivity. Specific method: First generate a charge with a known voltage on the fabric, and then measure the time required for the voltage to drop to 1/2 or 1/10 of its original value. The time can vary from less than 0.1 seconds to more than 10 minutes . The shorter the test result time, the better the antistatic effect of the dust-free clothing.

Regular testing of the anti-static performance of anti-static clothing is a key link that every manufacturer cannot ignore.
