How to Test the Quality of Cleanroom Wipes

Dust-free wipes are made of a double-woven 100% polyester fiber. Their soft surface makes them easy to wipe sensitive surfaces, resists fiber shedding, and boasts excellent water absorption and cleaning efficiency. All products are cleaned and packaged in our cleanroom.

Dust-free wipes are primarily used for wiping sensitive surfaces. They resist fiber shedding, making them an excellent tool for cleaning in the electronics industry. The quality of dust-free wipes directly impacts cleaning efficiency and effectiveness, and ultimately the quality of the product.

1. Pull. Pull the wipe from both sides, then hold it diagonally against the light and carefully inspect it with a magnifying glass for any broken fibers. Broken fibers will appear as lint on the surface of the wipe. The fewer broken fibers, the better the quality.

2. Shake. This is done to determine the weight of the wipe. The heavier the weight, the thicker it is and the better the cleaning effect. Shaking involves shaking the dust-free cloth under the cleanroom light to see if a large amount of debris falls off.

3. Wiping. Use a dust-free cloth to wipe fingerprints or sweat stains from a phone screen to see if they can be removed immediately. Alternatively, use a damp cloth with alcohol and wipe the phone screen or glasses to see if any smudges or debris remain.

When the surface temperature of the object being wiped is relatively high, a 100% wood pulp dust-free cloth should be used to ensure product quality and safety. Woven wipes should also be used to clean residues in the production workshop to prevent contamination of the high-purity dust-free cloth.

Generally speaking, dust-free rooms with high dust production are suitable for using wipes with larger pore sizes to completely eliminate dust contamination. Products with higher surface cleanliness requirements require ultra-high-purity dust-free wipes to achieve the highest degree of purification and dust removal.
