Influence of static electricity on electronic components

The main source of static electricity is insulators. Since the electrostatic charges carried on these insulators are not easily distributed on the entire surface of an object or transferred to another contacting object, the electrostatic voltage generated is very high.

Anti-static wrist strap
It is widely used in various operating stations. There are many types of wrist straps. It is recommended to use a wrist strap equipped with a 1 megaohm resistor. The wire length should be left with a certain margin.
Anti-static shoes
After using anti-static floor in the workshop, entering personnel should wear anti-static shoes to reduce the introduction of dust.
Anti-static gloves
It is necessary to wear anti-static gloves when the operator needs to hold static-sensitive components frequently.
Anti-static table mat
It is used to lay the surface of each workbench. Each mat is connected to the antistatic ground reliably with a resistance of 1 Megohm.
