Precautions for using antistatic finger cots:
1. When using antistatic finger cots for waterproofing, first check for leaks. Blow air into the cot, then pinch the opening tightly. If the cot doesn't shrink, it's leak-proof and can be used.
2. Do not wear for extended periods. If you feel swelling, numbness, or purple discoloration in your fingertips, remove them immediately and elevate your fingers. They should return to normal gradually.
3. Air dry after use. Reusable.
4. If the cot becomes difficult to put on after multiple uses, apply a little talcum powder or baby powder for lubrication.
5. Avoid punctures from sharp objects such as needles, scissors, and toothpicks.
6. When removing, roll the cot from top to bottom. This makes it easier to remove, less likely to break, and easier to put on next time.
