Purchasing standards for work clothes in Class A, B, C, and D clean areas

The country implements new GMP grade standards, and the grade requirements are extremely strict. We can see its strictness from the requirements of clean clothes in various grades of clean rooms.

Class A/B area: All hair, beards and other related parts should be covered with a hood. The hood should be tucked into the collar. A mask should be worn to prevent droplets. Wear protective goggles when necessary. Wear sterilized rubber or plastic gloves that are free of particulate matter (such as talcum powder). Wear sterilized or disinfected foot covers. The trouser legs should be tucked into the foot cover, and the cuffs should be tucked into the gloves. The work clothes should be sterilized one-piece work clothes for clean rooms, which do not shed fibers or particles, and can retain the particles emitted by the body.

C-level zone: hair, beard and other related parts should be covered, and a mask should be worn. Wear coveralls that can be tightened at the wrists or work clothes with separate clothes and pants, and wear appropriate shoes or shoe covers. Work clothes should not shed fibers or particles.

D-level area: hair, beard and other related parts should be covered. Appropriate work clothes and shoes or shoe covers should be worn. Appropriate measures should be taken to avoid pollutants brought into the clean area.

In addition, personal clothing cannot be brought into the locker room leading to the B/C level area. Every employee should change sterile work clothes every time they enter the A/B level area. Gloves should be disinfected frequently during operation, and masks and gloves should be replaced when necessary. It can be seen that among the four levels of the new GMP clean room, Class A requires the highest cleanliness and Class D requires the lowest. Therefore, for the purchase of clean clothes, we recommend that customers purchase corresponding clean clothes according to their level, so that the purchase cost can be effectively controlled.
