Regularly Applying Water-Based Wax to Antistatic Flooring
Does regularly applying water-based wax to antistatic flooring ensure permanent antistatic properties?
Regularly applying water-based wax can maintain the floor's shine and antistatic performance. Before applying the wax, clean the floor and worn areas with a damp mop. It is recommended to apply one or two thin coats of antistatic floor wax, allowing sufficient drying time between each coat. Removing stubborn stains and waxing isolates the material from the air, reducing damage caused by oxidation or contact with harmful substances in the air, thus extending the material's lifespan and maintaining a beautiful, clean appearance.
I. The Necessity of Waxing and Polishing Antistatic Flooring:

Removing stubborn stains and waxing isolates the material from the air, reducing damage caused by oxidation or contact with harmful substances in the air, thus extending the material's lifespan and maintaining a beautiful, clean appearance. More importantly, the resulting mirror-like surface is exceptionally durable, preventing damage from detergents, scratches, slips, and shoe heel abrasion. After polishing, the waxed surface becomes even shinier, harder, and more wear-resistant.
II. Antistatic Floor Waxing and Polishing Process:
1. First, use a stain remover and wax remover along with a 154 RPM multi-functional floor scrubber and a wet/dry vacuum cleaner to clean the floor until clean, then dry it with a three-speed air dryer. For wooden floors, use a wet/dry vacuum cleaner along with a clean dust mop and an antistatic dust collector until clean.
2. Select the appropriate wax according to the floor material and apply it to the floor using a waxing machine or a wringer and wax mop.
3. After the wax surface is dry, polish it.
4. Remove dust from the polished floor.
5. Conduct a thorough, all-around inspection to ensure the quality of the project.
