Selected Hazards of Static Electricity

1. Explosions and Fires. Explosions and fires are the greatest hazards of static electricity. Although the energy of static electricity is not large, its voltage is high and it is easy to discharge, producing static sparks. In flammable and explosive environments, static sparks may cause fires or explosions.
2. Electric Shocks. Electric shocks caused by static electricity can occur when a person approaches a charged object or when a person with a static charge approaches a grounded object. Generally, the energy of static electricity is small, so static shocks in the production process will not be directly fatal. However, electric shocks can easily cause secondary accidents such as falls and stumbles. Electric shocks can also cause employee stress and affect work.

3. Production Disruptions. In some production processes, failure to eliminate static electricity will affect production or reduce product quality. In addition, static electricity can cause electronic components to malfunction, leading to secondary accidents.
I recommend that you use our company's anti-static consumables and anti-static ion products, such as ion fans, ion guns, and ion snakes.
