Some questions from customers about anti-static chairs

In Italy, there are some government regulations on "safety", some of which are specifically for chairs (standard office chairs and Esd chairs)

One of these rules is about casters (wheels): when there is no pressure on the chair, the casters must have internal "friction" that is automatically activated

The above means: when the operator sits down (so it exerts weight pressure on the chair) the friction is unlocked, the casters can be easily moved to the chair, but when the operator stands up, the friction of the casters is activated by the spring, So if the chair is accidentally pushed away, it cannot easily move and walk around the laboratory. In fact, if pushed away, the chair will walk away due to this friction, but only a little bit, and using casters, the chair will make a long stroke before stopping and during travel may cause problems

In the picture below, you can see the difference between "approved" casters and your casters (approved ones have internal spring friction and have the "discharge esd" logo printed on them). The marking is not mandatory, but the spring automatic friction brake is mandatory.

For all of the above, please confirm whether you can provide approved casters (with spring friction) for your chair, or please send the best quotation for 100 chairs based on the samples you send, but with 38/53 cm or 44 -64 cm piston (it remains to be determined exactly which of these two) and quoted without 5 casters (because eventually we will purchase these approved casters locally)

I suggest to customers that you can buy anti-static wheels that meet the requirements locally. There is no such anti-static wheel in China.
