Three conditions necessary for fabrics used in antistatic clothing
Anti-static clothing has anti-static function: static electricity will adsorb dust, and the adsorbed dust will not be easily blown away when it is exposed to the wind. Therefore, the primary feature of the antistatic ultra-clean cloth is to have an antistatic function. Together, this anti-static function needs to be durable and efficient, and will not be significantly attenuated by ordinary scrubbing and conflict.
The cloth selected for anti-static clothing does not dust itself: it is worn in a clean room, so the fabric cannot be turned into a dust source in the clean room. This determines that the ultra-clean cloth can only be produced from chemically synthesized long fibers. . Natural short fibers such as cotton, hemp, and silk cannot be used in ultra-clean fabrics, although these materials can make the fabrics more pleasing. The chemical fiber filaments selected for the demand must also be strictly controlled. Generally speaking, full-dull polyester filaments are not suitable for woven anti-static ultra-clean fabrics. Because the matting agent, titanium dioxide, which is involved in the production of polyester, will become a source of pollution.

The ESD fabrics selected for anti-static garments must have excellent dust filtering: the dust in the clean room comes primarily from indoor air and indoors. When the condition of the equipment is determined, the cleanliness is also the limit of the demand to control the fine dust generated by the human body in the clothes, let it pass through the cloth into the air. This is the so-called cloth filter with a high dust rate. Progressive dust filtration is valued by the breathability of the fabric, so knitted fabrics and woven fabrics that are woven loosely are not suitable for use in clean rooms.
How to choose anti-static clothing fabric: Because our country has not yet developed the corresponding ultra-clean fabric or clean clothing testing standards, the selection of anti-static ultra-clean fabric can only be based on the needs of the working environment or through the testing Or choose by experience. A powerful user can spend hundreds of thousands to install a complete set of equipment, in the same environment as the practice of environmental cleanliness, according to the ISO standard for each batch of clean clothes. Most users can only choose by experience (including the experience of others). To learn to choose the right clean cloth correctly, you must first know some basic knowledge about the fabric.
The woven fabric is formed by interlacing the yarns in the warp and weft directions at a specific placement density according to a specific arrangement. In a nutshell, it is the use of enamel materials, how tightly packed, woven into plaque. In order to weave anti-static ultra-clean fabric, it is necessary to participate in conductive fibers. Here, the yarn, (latitude and longitude) placement density, fabric arrangement and conductive fibers are the four elements of anti-static and ultra-clean fabric. The choice of anti-static clothing fabric is based on the cleanliness of the working environment to compare the four elements of the fabric. Special instructions should be given for fire protection or other special functions.
