Wear PU-soled anti-static shoes to enter the clean room steadily
In the clean production lines of high-end product industries such as electronics and medicine. You will find that those who enter the production line have a common action every day when they go to work, that is, wearing anti-static clothing and anti-static shoes (boots). Whether it is the high temperature in summer or the severe cold in winter, they repeat the common action. In fact, wearing anti-static clothing and shoes is to guide static electricity from the human body to the earth, and eliminate human static electricity, effectively suppress the dust generated by people walking in the clean room, thereby reducing the damage rate of static electricity to high-end products and improving production quality.
For a clean environment and relatively low work intensity (less walking), it is critical to choose shoes that are light, comfortable, breathable, high quality and good wear resistance. You can choose cloth-surface rubber-soled anti-static shoes or conductive shoes. Generally, anti-static shoes are made of PU or PVC soles and anti-static fabrics. The sole resistance is 107-109 ohms.

Of these two materials of anti-static shoes, PU soles are the first choice. PU is the Chinese name for polyurethane. Although the output is small, polyurethane elastomer has excellent comprehensive properties and is currently widely used in metallurgy, petroleum, automobile, printing, medical and other industrial sectors. PU material has high elasticity and strength, excellent wear resistance, oil resistance and vibration resistance, and is known as "wear-resistant rubber". Although the price of PU-soled anti-static shoes is 2-3 times higher than that of PVC-soled anti-static shoes, PU-soled anti-static shoes feel soft. In order to ensure that PU anti-static shoes have a good anti-static effect, testing is very important. It is recommended to conduct a resistance test once during wearing, generally not more than 200 hours.
