What are the hazards caused by static electricity in industrial production?
The harm of static electricity
The harm caused by static electricity in industrial production can be attributed to the following two mechanisms:
One: The harm caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD):
(1) Causes malfunction or malfunction of electronic equipment, causing electromagnetic interference.
(2) Break down integrated circuits and precision electronic components, or promote the aging of components, reducing the production yield.
(3) High-voltage electrostatic discharge causes electric shock, endangering personal safety.
(4) Production sites with many inflammable and explosive products or dust and oil mist are very easy to cause explosion and fire.
Second, the harm caused by electrostatic attraction (ESA):
(1) Electronics industry: Adsorb dust, cause pollution of integrated circuits and semiconductor components, and greatly reduce the yield.
(2) Film and plastic industry: make the film or film roll unevenly; the film and CD plastic discs are contaminated with dust, which affects the quality.
(3) Papermaking and printing industry: Paper is unevenly wound, inaccurate overprinting, serious suction, and even paper sticks, which affects production.
(4) Textile industry: causing hazards such as fluttering of roots, broken ends of entangled flowers, and tangled yarns.
(5) Plastic spraying: Plastic products have high static electricity and are easy to absorb dust, which affects the appearance and quality of the workpiece after spraying.
The breakdown of components caused by electrostatic discharge is the most common and serious electrostatic hazard in the electronics industry. It is divided into hard breakdown and soft breakdown. Hard breakdown is a one-time cause of dielectric breakdown, burnout or failure of components; soft breakdown is caused by deterioration of device performance or decreased parameters
Friction electrification and human body static electricity are the two major sources of hazards in the electronics and microelectronics industries, but the generation of static electricity is not the hazard. The hazard lies in the accumulation of static electricity and the resulting electrostatic discharge, so it must be controlled.
Main products: anti-static liquid, anti-static document bag holder, anti-static hard plastic sleeve, anti-static over-plastic film, anti-static writing board, anti-static trash can, anti-static mat, anti-static curtain, etc.
