Why is it necessary to remove static electricity before printing
It is very necessary to remove static electricity on the surface of the substrate before printing.
As for the printing industry, their main substrate materials are plastic and paper, etc., and these materials themselves carry strong static electricity and are insulators that are not suitable to discharge static electricity. Therefore, once it is charged with static electricity, it is easy to accumulate static electricity, so that the substrates attract each other, and it is not suitable to peel off into the printing machine. Therefore, it is very necessary to remove static electricity on the surface of the substrate before printing.
If the paper storage time before printing is too short, the paper and the printing environment lack an effective balance of temperature and humidity, and the paper stack is too high and heavy, which will cause the paper to be charged with static electricity. In the process of paper production, processing and printing, paper or printed products sometimes attract each other and stick together, making it difficult to separate. In the dry spring and winter, this phenomenon is particularly prominent. It may cause obstacles to the normal paper feeding, receiving and arranging, and it may not be able to start the machine.
We can use some ion air blower or ion air gun to remove dust and static.Check the pictures below:
