Usually, anti-static clothing uses full-process fabrics, while some relatively cheap anti-static clothing uses semi-process fabrics. What is the difference between the two? The full process starts from the grey cloth to singeing, desizing, mercerizing, pre-shrinking, dyeing, drying, fixing, and high-temperature shaping. All links of the entire production process are indispensable, while several links in the semi-process can be omitted. Pre-shrinking can be omitted, so that the shrinkage rate of the grey cloth will be reduced and elongation will occur (that is, 1000 meters of grey cloth is invested to produce more than 1000 meters of finished products). If pre-shrinkage is done, only more than 900 meters of finished products can be produced. And the semi-processed fabrics are not mercerized, not only the gloss is not good, the surface is not smooth, the feel is not good, and the fabric is easy to pilling after being made into clothes. In terms of price, the full-process one is at least a few dollars more expensive than the semi-process one for the same fabric and color.
The fabric production process refers to a small part, and there is also the anti-static performance of the fabric, or in the production process of the clothing.
