Anti-static ESD clothing is a special clothing, generally used in electronics factories, semiconductor industry, pharmaceutical industry, etc., with the effect of discharging static electricity, in order to prevent tiny devices from being broken down by static electricity and causing losses.
When choosing anti-static clothing, many purchasing personnel of units will spend a lot of time to select. However, they never ask the manufacturer in the later use, and wait until their own products have problems before tracing the cause. Finally, they find out that the anti-static clothing has no anti-static effect.
Anti-static ESD clothing refers to a special work clothes sewn with anti-static fabric as the fabric to prevent static electricity accumulation on clothing. So what is anti-static fabric? It is a fabric made by mixing conductive fibers or anti-static synthetic fibers or a mixture of the two at roughly equal intervals or evenly when weaving fabrics, so as to play an anti-static role.
For some high-demand production sites, anti-static clothing has now become the standard in many industries. Anti-static clothing is different from ordinary clothing. Although the fabric of anti-static clothing is made of special anti-static polyester filament, after long-term wearing and washing, the fiber will have a certain degree of fuzzing and breaking, which cannot be seen by the naked eye. Therefore, anti-static clothing must be regularly tested for professional performance. And it cannot be just a verbal requirement, it must be included in the daily production quality management process, so as to ensure the consistency of the final product quality.
